hello to all..well, the first week of observations has ended...i am a bit overwelmed by the number of students in the classroom. there are 60 kids in each class...i am not sure how i will be able to teach that many....i will have to be very creative....any suggestions from my readers.....sorry my shift key does not work...i have met some nice people. i met a older woman today that studied in oklahoma...she is in charge of a prison...she was very kind and would love to sit and talk with me. i have also met a very educated man at the internet cafe that does a lot of work with the states ...his latest product development is working on bottled water for cameroon. i see a lot of the same faces when i go to the internet cafe....
next week i will be continuing observations of the freshman biology classes...and after that week, i believe that i will start taking over the classroom....i am a bit intimidated....keep your fingers crossed for me....
thank you ash-man for the wonderful post...i love you so much...infinities, infinities and beyonds.....tears rolled down my cheeks when i read your message...you are always in my thoughts and my heart.....please stay in touch.
well, lastly, i think i got my first mosquito bite....hope nothing evolves from that...malaria is very prevalent here. i would appreciate any prayers for my contiuned safety while here in cameroon.
i miss all of you and hope that things are well with everyone...i will be visiting the market tomorrow and try to find some unique african items...not sure what i will find....i will let you know what treasures lie there.....love to all...enjoy your weekend......ps asher, good luck in your football game...know that i am there in spirit....always.........nancy

Hi Nancy...hope things are going well...I've been having trouble getting on your blog so if this goes through I'll send a longer one later...luv ya...Gal Pal
Nancy,
Asher's note made ME cry too....a mother's heart is a mother's heart; simple as that!
Your adventures continue, with God placing people in your path to make you smile, challenge you, make you grow, bless you....Remember, God reminds us to "fear not". He will guide you on your path and keep you safe. Sunshine will be a welcome sight for you come late Sept....sometimes I think it is good for us to do without things so that we appreciate them so much more when we finally receive them!
LOVE your blog.......it's a great way to "stay connected" when you're far away. Talked to Vicki tonight...she said to send her love to you and tell you that she will try to get on here tomorrow and write. She misses her honey and wants her back in Wheaton where she belongs (just kidding she said!)
I'm glad to hear that you're having some fun along the way!
Love and prayers, blessings and light. Marzita
